Water softening systems

Calcium and magnesium in the class of cationic ions are the most important factors for the hardness of water in solution. Hard water is difficult to fix in households, such as plumbing and water washing machines. One of the most effective ways to overcome these problems is to use the ion exchange method. The calcium and magnesium ions are replaced by sodium ions from the water. Thus, the water softening process can be carried out with the cationic resin. The softener pad material can be applied as optional FRP or is made from AISI 304-316 stainless steel. Water softener automation can be grouped under 3 main headings.

Time controlled

As a period of time, the regeneration process is automatically carried out on the desired day of the week without any intervention at the desired time.

Controlled flow

It automatically regenerates the device when it reaches the amount of regeneration previously programmed or set by measuring the amount of water passing through a meter on the device.

Checking the hardness measurement

These types of water softeners, controlled by a central control panel, continuously measure the water hardness value and automatically regenerate the unit when it exceeds the desired hardness value due to the previously programmed defined. Regeneration of water softening units is done with salt.

Filtr'O water softening systems are very suitable and economical systems for industry that consume 24 hours of uninterrupted water and the hardness of very high hardness water.
All control valves used in softening systems perform maintenance, regeneration and backwashing operations automatically.
Filtr'O softening systems are governed by signals from the valve system operating according to capacity.
One of the softening tanks continues to soften while the other is backwashed, so the softening process is not interrupted.
